Submissions

We publish a variety of genres.  Before submitting, look at the lists below to see what we are looking for and what we are NOT looking for.

If you are interested in submitting to us, use the form on this page and send us one Word file (doc or docx) containing the following: one paragraph about yourself (up to 200 words), a summary of entire book (up to 600 words), and the first chapter (up to 5,000 words). If you have any doubt about what to submit, please read the books we feature here on our website. Click here to read about our royalty structure. We try to respond to all queries within two weeks, but during heavy submission times it could be as long as four. Full-length novels only.  At this time we accept novellas only from authors already publishing with us. This means that submitted books should be between 58,000 to 150,000 words, with an average of 70,000-90,000 for adult titles. Again please read the list of books we don’t publish before sending to us.

What we are actively looking for:

• Contemporary romance
• Romantic suspense
• Paranormal romance
• Historical romance
• Urban fantasy with a strong romantic element
• Science fiction with a romantic element
• Adult Young adult (female protagonists only that are at least 17)
• Nonfiction about the publishing industry

Note: We are particularly interest in finding contemporary romance and urban fantasy/paranormal with strong female protagonists who share an intense attraction with their male counterpart that doesn’t necessarily end up in the bedroom. So the romance and attraction is pronounced but is still more of a side plot to the main action. We prefer books that stick to one point-of-view in a chapter or scene, rather than ones with a lot of head-jumping.

What we do NOT publish and are not interested in seeing:

• Religious fiction or romances
• Erotica or graphic romance
• LGBT
• Comic books
• General nonfiction
